Xavier Safety
Xavier is located primarily within the city of Cincinnati and is surrounded by three very different neighborhoods. As in all communities, personal safety, crime, and the loss of property may occur. Every member of the Xavier community contributes to their personal safety. Below are important actions you may practice daily:
- Be aware of your surroundings.
- "See it, hear it, report it" to Xavier Police at (513) 745-1000.
- Lock the door! Whether it is your vehicle, office, or residence.
- Protect and secure your valuables, do not leave them unattended.
- Maintain control of your ALL card, books, and bags.
- Do not abuse alcohol or other drugs.
- Use common sense.

Xavier University Police Department
The Xavier University Police Department is located in Flynn Hall, at 1648 Musketeer Drive (across from the Common's Apartment Complex). They can be reached for emergencies 24 hours a day at (513) 745-1000, and at (513) 745-200 for non-emergencies. Cincinnati Police Department
The Cincinnati Police Department is the primary law enforcement agency for the City of Cincinnati and provides a full range of police services to 52 diverse neighborhoods.
